What this policy covers

Cookies and similar tools, such as your browser's local storage, are small pieces of data saved on your device. This policy explains which ones the Trackside app uses and why. It works together with our Privacy Policy.

What we use that is essential

These are needed for the app to work, so they are always on:

• Your sign-in, so you stay logged in.
• Your choices: language, dark mode, the glass look, and whether to show seasonal themes.
• Notes that you've already seen a tip, guide, popup or banner, so we don't show it again.
• Your analytics choice (accepted or declined).
• A saved copy of your schedule on your device, and app files kept by your browser, so the app loads faster and can show your information when your connection is slow or offline.

Analytics (only if you accept)

If you tap Accept on the analytics notice, we store a random ID on your device and record which pages you open and when, how long your visit lasts, and where you came from. When you are signed in, this is linked to your account. Analytics stay off until you accept. If you decline, none of this is stored or collected. See our Privacy Policy for details.

What we do not use

We do not use advertising cookies, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not sell your data.

Signing in with another service

If you sign in with Google, Apple, Microsoft or Facebook, that service may set its own cookies on its own pages. Those are covered by that company's policies, not ours.

Your choices

• Change your analytics choice anytime in Profile.
• You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Clearing them signs you out and resets your choices. Blocking the essential ones may stop sign-in from working.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
